Task boards for church leadership teams
Everything that has to happen before Sunday in one place.
Assign the task, set the date, and the right person hears about it. Built for the small church that can't afford a big software bill. $2 per leader per month, and volunteers are free.
Tasks, due dates, email and in-app alerts. No texting, no extras.
What it does
The things a church team actually needs from a task tool
If you have used a board like monday.com, this will feel familiar. It just leaves out everything a church office does not use.
Table, kanban and dashboard
Group tasks by due date, status or owner. Drag a card to move it. Switch to the dashboard to see who is overloaded and what is overdue.
Assign it and they hear about it
Leaders get an email and an alert in the app. Volunteers get an email with a link. Nobody needs to remember to tell anyone.
A board for you, a board for the project
Everyone with a seat gets private boards that no one else can see, admins included. Start a shared board for Christmas Eve and choose who is on it.
Notes, files and updates
Write what done looks like, attach the bulletin or the checklist, and keep the conversation on the task instead of in a text thread.
The day before, or the morning of
Pick one per task. Weekly jobs like locking up or counting the offering repeat on their own after you mark them done.
One list of what is yours
Open the app and see only your tasks, sorted by what is due next, across every board you are on.
Roles
Four kinds of people, four levels of access
Admins decide what Staff and Team Leaders are allowed to do. Volunteers never need an account.
| Role | What they can see | What they can do | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Admin | Every board except other people's private boards | Everything, including people, roles and billing | 1 seat |
| Staff | Leadership, Sunday service and team boards | Create, assign, edit and delete tasks; start shared boards | 1 seat |
| Team Leaders | Sunday service and team boards, plus boards they are added to | Create tasks and edit their own; no assigning or deleting | 1 seat |
| Volunteer | Only their own tasks, from an emailed link | Read the notes, open the files, tap Mark done | Free |
For volunteers
One link, one tap, no password
Your Saturday setup crew will not download an app or remember a login. They open the link in their email, see what is theirs, and tap Mark done when it is finished.

Questions
Before you ask
Is this only for Sunday mornings?
No. The name comes from the goal, being ready, but boards work for any week of the year. Leadership tasks, event planning and team follow-ups all live in the same place.
Does it replace Planning Center?
No, and it is not trying to. Sunday Ready does one thing, which is tasks, due dates and notifications. If your church already runs people, giving or check-in somewhere else, keep doing that.
Why no text messages?
Text messages cost real money per message, and that would force a higher price. Email and the in-app bell keep it at $2 a seat.
Who can see my private board?
Only you. Admins can see shared boards, but a private board is private to the person who made it.
Is it ready to use today?
Not yet. A working prototype exists, and the first real version is being built with pilot churches. Early churches help shape it and get launch pricing.
Want to try it with your leadership team?
We are looking for a handful of small churches to pilot Sunday Ready this season. Tell us a little about your team and we will be in touch.
